Adding Names To A List
To add names to a list, click the button on the bottom-right of the screen.
This will cause a new window to pop up offering 4 choices:
- Type in a new name for AddressLabels use.
- Import names already typed in for other lists.
- Import names from your Contacts.
- Import Names from a .csv File (version 2.10 onwards)

Typing New Names
If you prefer to keep names separate from your Contacts, you can type a name and address here, just for AddressLabels use.
You can also add additional information such as, as shown here, names of children.
If you want, you can also enter nickname, company, phone numbers, email addresses and birthday.
Any of the values entered can be displayed with the names in the main list view. To select which items to display, go to Settings. Likewise, when previewing labels, you can go to settings to select which items should be shown on the address labels.
When you have finished entering information, tap the Save button. The information will be saved, and the form cleared, allowing you to enter information for another person. When finished entering information for all the names to be added, click the red 🔴 Close button on the top-left.

Importing Existing Typed Names
If you have already typed names and addresses for other lists, you can import them into the current list.
Just tap the desired names. Those with the green checkmark will get added to the list when the “Import Selected Names” button is clicked. You can select or unselect all names using the buttons at the bottom of the screen, if this makes it easier to end up with the desired names. If a name is selected, you can unselect it by tapping on it again, to remove the green checkmark.
Note: If you have not already manually typed in names for another list (as opposed to adding from Contacts), the table will be empty.

Importing Names From Contacts
The quickest way to add names to your lists is by importing them from your Contacts.
You can display All Contacts, or, if you have them organised in Groups, select the appropriate group. For example, many people have already created a Group for Christmas Cards. Click on All Contacts, or a Group, and you will see the names available on the right-hand pane.
There is a search box to help you find names more easily.

Importing Names From CSV File
From version 2.10 onwards, it is possible to import names from a .csv file.
On the screen shown at the top of this page, click on the Import Names From Numbers/Excel .csv File button.
Export your Numbers or Excel data to a csv file. Then drag the file onto the screen shown to the right.
You should then see the names and addresses displayed in a table.
